Reis Makina
The Topçu family entered the commercial world when Ali Reis Topçu started wholesale food and hardware sales in Rize in the late 1800s. By the early 1900s, the third generation of the family continued their business with the sale of construction materials, hardware, glass, and electrical supplies, as well as the production and sale of rubber shoes. In 1957, the Topçu family established the Mehmet-Yaşar Topçu and Brothers Collective Company, which later became the Topçular Hardware Company, and by 1966, they had fully relocated their operations to Istanbul.
Starting in 1980, with the fourth generation of the Topçu family, the focus shifted to international markets. Reis Makina was established by obtaining the Turkish distribution rights for numerous global brands, including Makita, Knipex, Proxxon, Lavor, Virax, Gison, BMI, Bea, and Exena.
In the early 2000s, the Reis Shop and Reis Servis projects were launched to enhance the dealer infrastructure. Today, with Reis Shop and Reis Servis locations across Turkiye, the company provides services throughout the country in product categories including Electric Hand Tools, Industrial Products, Generators and Motors, Metalworking Machines, Garden Machinery, Hand Tools, Cleaning Machines, and Workplace Safety Equipment. Reis Makina is positioned as the leading brand in the industry, distinguished by its commitment to customer trust, innovation, technology investments, and a robust dealer and service network.
Since the beginning of their commercial activities, the Topçu Family has maintained a focus on quality in the products they imported. From the late 2010s onward, they have applied the same quality standards to the products manufactured in Turkiye. They continue to invest in order to contribute to the growth of the Turkish economy, increase exports, and enhance employment.
