In an interview with Yeni Şafak newspaper, Topçu Holding General Manager Başar Demircan evaluated the impact of global geopolitical developments on energy supply and highlighted the strategic importance of domestic generator manufacturing. Demircan stated that power outages have direct effects on industrial production, logistics operations, and export performance, emphasizing that generator systems serve as a critical safeguard for ensuring business continuity.

Drawing attention to the vital role of a strong generator infrastructure, particularly during periods of energy crises and global uncertainty, Demircan noted that domestic production not only reduces dependency on foreign sources but also contributes to employment, technological advancement, and the growth of supporting industries. He further stated that developing Türkiye’s own generator technologies would strengthen the resilience of its industrial sector and emphasized that investments focused on energy security will become even more important in the years ahead.
