Reis Makina General Manager Başar Demircan stated in his remarks to Fortune Türkiye that the hardware sector in Türkiye, which has reached a volume of approximately $25 billion, holds strong growth potential.

Covering a wide range of product groups from power tools and generators to compressors and lifting equipment, the sector continues to expand, while Reis Makina is launching a large-scale production investment in Yalova to reduce external dependency and accelerate its branding process.

Having shifted its focus toward manufacturing during the pandemic due to disruptions in the global supply chain, the company managed to reduce its imports by $5 million within one year thanks to this strategy. The company is now taking steps to establish a new production facility with a total investment of $40 million.
