EKOTÜRK – Industry and Trade Program | Reis Makina General Manager Başar Demircan

Başar Demircan participated in the Industry and Trade program on EKOTÜRK, where he evaluated the position of the hardware sector in the Turkish economy, the company’s production vision, and its future goals.

During the interview, Demircan emphasized that the hardware sector in Türkiye has a market size of approximately $25 billion and represents a strategic field that forms the backbone of manufacturing and export processes. He stated that with its nearly 100-year history, Reis Makina has established a strong supply, distribution, and service network within the sector.

Demircan also noted that in recent years the company has increasingly focused on manufacturing, driven by rising export demand, post-pandemic supply chain changes, and the growing need for high-quality domestic production. He added that the production activities initiated in Konya and the new facility planned in Yalova are at the center of the company’s long-term growth strategy.
