Topçu Holding, one of Turkey’s largest hardware suppliers and the manufacturer of CNC and universal machines as well as band saws, incorporated the desktop CNC manufacturer Revo into its structure to strengthen its presence in the defense and aerospace industries with its operations in Samsun.Topçu Holding General Manager Başar Demircan stated, “The custom parts produced on desktop CNC machines are used in sectors that require precision manufacturing, such as the defense and aerospace industry. Therefore, demand for desktop CNC machines continues to grow.”He added that the merger of the Ozco brand, the brand associated with the metalworking machinery sector, with Revo has created a significant synergy:
“At this point, we have become one of the leading brands in the market for both lathe and CNC product groups. We released several machines co-produced with our partners in China as samples, and the feedback has been excellent. Following the strong demand, we decided to import nearly 100 CNC machines”

Mr.Demircan also shared that their operations will not remain dependent on imports for long and continued:
“We will soon begin producing the major CNC machines we purchased from China, integrating the know-how we gained from Revo. We will manufacture large CNC machines in Türkiye. In addition to Revo, we will also produce CNC machines under the Ozco brand.”

Stating that they are moving toward becoming a manufacturing-oriented company, Mr.Demircan emphasized that they aim to generate 50% of the holding’s revenue from production and exports.
